Mercantile Communication Pvt. Ltd. Initiates Re-verification Process for Old .np Domains

Kathmandu – Mercantile Communication Pvt. Ltd., a leading name in domain registration and web services in Nepal, has announced the re-verification process for old .np domains. The company has urged domain owners to submit the required documents to maintain the validity of their domains, especially those with a status marked as “Re-Verification.”

In a recent notice, Mercantile Communication emphasized the importance of adhering to the guidelines for document submission. Domain owners are required to upload the necessary documents, along with a cover letter, directly into the system. The company has also provided specific instructions to ensure a smooth process:

  • Documents must not contain additional spaces (e.g., use “Mer_Com” instead of “Mer Com”).
  • Special characters are not allowed in the document names.
  • The file size should not exceed 200KB and must be in image format (*.jpg).
  • Uploaded images must be clear and readable.

Additionally, the “Request Domain/Proceed” button will only be activated after two documents have been successfully uploaded into the system. Mercantile Communication has advised against sending documents via email, as the process is strictly system-based.

This move is part of Mercantile Communication’s ongoing efforts to ensure the authenticity and security of .np domains. Domain owners are encouraged to complete the re-verification process promptly to avoid any disruptions in their domain services.
